Dr. Paul Kim – Medical Director
Dr. Paul Kim, a board-certified plastic surgeon, has been practicing in Exton, PA for over 40 years and more recently opened an office in Lancaster. Recognized as a “Top Doc” by Philadelphia and Main Line Today magazines, Dr. Kim is renowned for his expertise in plastic and reconstructive surgery and his commitment to exceptional patient care.
Over his career, Dr. Kim has performed thousands of skin cancer excisions and Mohs closures, earning the trust of countless patients. And now with the introduction of advanced technologies, he has embraced non-surgical solutions for non-melanoma skin cancers, offering patients a minimally invasive alternative to surgery.
Beyond his practice, Dr. Kim has deep roots in Chester County, where he lives with his wife of 48 years. A proud father and grandfather, he enjoys golfing, cheering on the Eagles, and nurturing his love of gardening.
Karyn Kim - Administrator and Office Manager
Karyn Kim is the Administrator and Office Manager at Skin Cancer Centers of America, where she oversees daily operations and supports both patients and staff. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Villanova University in 2016, following her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2011. With a background as a certified Family Nurse Practitioner and over 14 years of clinical experience, Karyn brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to her administrative role.
Karyn began her career as a registered nurse at the renowned Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) before advancing to a nurse practitioner role at Lankenau Hospital. She later honed her skills at Legacy Plastic Surgery before transitioning to her current position at Skin Cancer Centers of America. Throughout her career, Karyn has been committed to excellence and providing a welcoming environment for both patients and staff.
Her passion for healthcare is matched by her dedication to creating a supportive and organized workplace, ensuring patients receive the highest level of service.
Outside of work, Karyn lives in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania, with her husband and two children. She enjoys traveling to Hilton Head Island and Mystic, Connecticut, and spends her free time reading, dancing, scuba diving and skiing.
Dani Cane, Radiation Therapist
Dani Cane is a dedicated Radiation Therapist with 18 years of experience in the field. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA, with a Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Science and is certified as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) specializing in Radiation Therapy.
Dani thoroughly enjoys her role at SCCA, helping patients navigate challenging times with kindness and compassion. Her commitment to providing exceptional care is a reflection of her passion for making a positive impact on others’ lives.
Dani lives in West Chester, Pennsylvania, with her husband, two children, and their beloved Dane-Pittie mix. In her free time, she enjoys reading, crafting, spending time at the beach, and cheering for the Philadelphia Eagles. Above all, she treasures quality time with her family and friends.
